Enforcement proceedings refer to a set of actions taken by state bodies and officials to ensure the compulsory execution of court decisions and decisions of other authorities (or officials), conducted in accordance with the Law of Ukraine On Enforcement Proceedings and other legal acts.

Compulsory enforcement is carried out by the State Enforcement Service, which operates under the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, as well as by private enforcement officers in cases defined by the above-mentioned law.
